Why Join RDS?
Our members are devoted to improving diagnosis and treatment of the skin manifestations of rheumatologic diseases. We offer professionals interested in joining our organization a means for collaborating and networking with other members and experts in this subspecialty. Members share information on diagnostics, patient management, clinical research and case presentations.
Active RDS members have exclusive online access to the most current research and clinical trials. Members communicate and share knowledge through:

Eligibility and Requirements
We offer three categories of memberships to our organization. Please review the membership requirements.
- Members (Dues: $150 per year): Practicing board-certified dermatologists or rheumatologists. Also eligible are those who have received specialty certification in dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or a comparable national organization and have an interest in the care of patients with rheumatologic skin disease.
- Associate Members – (Dues: $150 per year): Other physicians and nonphysician scientists having an interest in rheumatic skin disease.
- Affiliate Members – (Dues: $75 per year): Tax free organizations, non-physician individuals advocating for patients with rheumatologic skin disease.
- Trainee Members (Dues: FREE): Fellows, residents, and medical students. Such membership is limited to three years.
Membership Fees
- Members (Dues: $175 per year): Practicing board-certified dermatologists or rheumatologists. Also eligible are those who have received specialty certification in dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or a comparable national organization and have an interest in the care of patients with rheumatologic skin disease.
